nJheeram Valley massacre in which almost all the top leaders of the state Congress were killed continued to be a political hot potato six years after the gruesome incident.
A few leaders from both the BJP and the Congress are accusing each other of being hand in glove with Maoist to carry out the attack and demanding narco-test on the opponent to unearth the truth.
Close on the heels of Excise and Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma demanding that a narco-test should be done on former chief minister Raman Singh and erstwhile home minister Nankiram Kanwar, Kanwar has accepted the demand.
Kanwar, while reacting to the demand of Lakhma for his narco-test, leveled serious allegations on Lakhma stating that he had nexus with the Naxals.
While talking to media, he also raised question over unscathed release of Lakhma by Naxals after the incident. Kanwar also sought to know from Lakhma as to why the Naxals stopped firing when he shouted “I am Lakhma”. Congress leaders had nexus with Naxals and Lakhma was prominent among them, Kanwar alleged.
