Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Friday that Jesus Christ taught us the path of love, kindness, compassion and service for the welfare of entire human kind. Christmas is the day to thank for God’s mercy and love.
Baghel reached St Paul Cathedral in Raipur and took part in Christmas prayers. He extended greetings of Christmas to the Christian community and all residents of the state. He wished for happiness and prosperity for all, an official communication said.
The people of Chhattisgarh have traditionally followed the way of love, harmony and brotherhood, he said.
Let everyone join hands together to realize the dream of ‘Nava Chhattisgarh’ in the path shown by Lord Jesus, he added.
