Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) on Monday declared its third list of contenders for the upcoming assembly polls scheduled in Nov-Dec 2018. The core committee of party after finalisation of names had placed it before the party supremo who gave the approval. It was then announced to the media.
Briefing the media persons, Party General Secretary Abdul Hamid Hayat informed that a list of seven more contenders have been approved by the Core Committee in its meeting held on June 13. The party has already declared two lists of contenders.
It is well ahead from other political parties in declaring the names so that the contenders could get enough time for preparation of polls in their respective assembly areas, he said.The list includes the names of former MlA Paresh Bagbahra from Khallari, Arjun Hirwani from Sanjari Balod, Bihari Rajwade from Baikunthpur, Sankani Chandraiya from Bijapur (ST), Jaya Kashyap from Dantewada (ST), Baliram Kachlam from Narayanpur (ST) and Sonsai Kashyap from Bastar (ST).
