nFormer Chief Minister Ajit Jogi said issue of Tribal protest against mining in Nandraj mountain in Bailadila will be raised before the people in the Dantewda by-election and the fight will continue as the innocent tribals are still languishing in jail.
They have to be brought out of jail, which is one of the key issues of his party Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi), he added.
Addressing media at Jagdalpur, Jogi said the regional outfit will register victory as tribal leader from the region and now cabinet minister Kawasi Lakhma who used to raise voice for tribal languishing in jails is now doing nothing even as for last 8 months the innocent tribal are languishing behind the bars.
Congress government’s real face has been unmasked, he claimed.
He said in South Bastar, considering the prevailing tough situations, the paddy procurement price should be Rs 3000 per quintal while tendu leaves should be procured at Rs 5000 per standard sack. He added that if his party wins in the by-poll, then it would make MSP for paddy and tendu leaves another key issue of the party.
