Janata Congress Chhattisgarh JCC (J) on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on Tuesday burnt ‘liquor’ to display party’s protest against sale of liquor in the state.
JCC (J) Supremo Ajit Jogi on the occasion reiterated the commitment of complete prohibition in the state if his party comes to power. Hundreds of JCC (J) activists gathered at Sagaun Bungalow on Tuesday afternoon and burnt liquor bottles to protest the sale of liquor by state government. They also demanded enforcement of Prohibition.
The party made the announcement that prohibition would be enforced in the state in the terrain area if they come to power. The tribal areas would be left at initial stage as it’s a part of their culture and soon they too would be convinced to quit consumption of liquor, Jogi said.
