Janata Congress Chhattisgarh,(Jogi) (JCC) (J) on Friday, after an important high power committee meeting held here on Friday, decided to appoint three Working Presidents in the party.
The newly inducted Working Presidents are Sandeep Yadu, Chandra Prakash Kurre and Hemant Kashyap.
Party sources informed that a high power committee was headed by former Member of Parliament Devvrat Singh.
Yadu has been included from Other Backward Caste while Kurre is from Scheduled Caste and Kashyap from Scheduled Tribe community. Hence, efforts were made to give a balanced representation to different sections of society, the sources said.
Yadu hails from Raipur, Kurre from Masturi, Bilaspur and Kashyap from Bastar, sources informed.
The party also appointed Danish Rafiq of Ambikapur the State President of Youth Wing of JCC (J), sources said. Notably, the post was vacant after the State President of the wing, Vinod Tiwari recently switched over to Congress.
