It was on the demand of village sarpanch Baliram Thakur a proposal for construction of approach road under MNREGA was submitted before Janpad panchayat. After approval from Janpad panchayat, the construction of road for Rs9.76 lakh was started on February 24, 2014.The layers of gravel and ‘murrum’ have been laid and only asphalting is left to be done.”The construction of road is in final stages and will be completed within 15 days if nothing goes wrong,” said Panchayat Secretary Kashiram Sahu.
