The Chhattisgarh government has appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) as In-charge Superintendent of Police (SP) in a minor reshuffle. Badri Narayan Meena, a 2004 batch IPS Officer, has been given responsibilities of In-charge SP in Janjgir-Champa district, the order said. Presently, he is posted as AIGP (PHQ) in Nava Raipur after returning from central deputation to Chhattisgarh last month. The appointment came after the Janjgir-Champa SP Prashant Kumar Thakur was relieved for the induction training from August 23 to October 1, it added.
