Heavy rainfall had been playing havoc in and around Jagdalpur city with low lying areas still submerged in water.
A spell of heavy rainfall again during the past two days has worsened the problems of the people in Jagdalpur city while many villages still remain cut off from the district headquarters.
The worst-affected areas of Jagdalpur remain Gangamunda, Nayamunda, Maharani, Veersavarkar, Mahadev, Praveer ward, Donga Ghat besides Jawahar Nagar locality.
This apart, the flooded Mingachal river has already crossed the danger mark
following heavy rains .
