The State Government has named a Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) after Martyr Bhrigunandan Choudhary in the district.
Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Department has issued
orders in this context from the Mantralaya, officials stated.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Raman Singh had made announcement in this context in Gariaband during lok Suraaj 2015.
late Bhrigunandan Choudhary was a resident of village Sadauli in Gariaband district. He was martyred on September 8, 2012 while braving Naxalites near Chakarbandha area of Gaya district in Bihar. After his demise, he was honoured with ‘Kirti Chakra’.
