Reacting to the statement of Chhattisgarh PCC chief Mohan Markam, Leader of Opposition in state assembly Dharamlal Kaushik in a statement issued to the media said the nation knows that the only institution in the country is Congress which has betrayed the country and its people. After Independence, the party continued to betray the people with false promises.
PCC Chief who is terming demonetisation as calamity to nation, should remember that after it BJP won in Lok Sabha and UP like state. It provided that demonetisation was necessary for a prosperous economy. Each decision taken by the Prime Minister is connected to the nation's progress. The Congress is compelled to issue such statements due to its nose-diving public support. The roots of terrorism, naxalism have weakened after it. Congress has been protesting the decision and creating confusion but the public has already replied to it.
