The investigation wing of Income Tax Department conducted searches at 18 establishments of Mundra Group and IB Group of Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, sources said.
The IT teams of Raipur, Jabalpur (MP) and Nagpur (Maharashtra) simultaneously searched the corporate office, local office and other related offices of IB group owned by Bahadur Ali. Similarly, the teams searched the Ramdhin Marg office of Kamal Solvent owned by Damodar Das Mundra besides his residence and industrial unit in Somni, sources said. The teams which included about 300 personnel went through the official documents of these groups but kept the proceedings confidential, sources said.
