It is our thought and resolution that Balco should become a company that becomes instrumental in the advancement of the country, lok Sabha member from Korba, Dr Banshi lal Mahto said here on Thursday.
While visiting different units of Balco, Mahto said that the company, through its plant is contributing to the progress of the country.
He said the Balco’s 1200 MW power plant should commence production soon. We would discuss with each other and extend all necessary cooperation for the commencement of power production at the plant. On his visit, Mahto also saw the different expansion works of the company.
Chief Executive Officer and full-time Director of Balco, Ramesh Nair received Mahto at the integrated building inside the factory complex. Mahto said that he knows about Balco plant from its inception. After disinvestment , Balco’s infrastructure has increased. There are no two opinions.
Balco area is relatively pollution free than before. He stressed the need to encourage plantation. He said that along with the progress of Balco, local talents should get more encouragement. There should be an increase in facilities for the citizens. He conveyed his best wishes to the employees of the company , local citizens and the Balco Management.
During the discussion at the integrated building Mahto emphasized on the importance of practice along with study and said creation is more important than study.
He said the disciplined citizens who work in the plant are very aware of the rules. The Balco management has paid a great attention to hygiene.
