The Quality Circle Forum of India — Bhilai Chapter and SAIl’s flagship unit — Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) have joined hands to hold the first International Conclave on 'Iron and Steel Making – 2015' in Raipur on (Saturday) February 7.
This one-day techno fair aims to unite steel makers and professionals from world class technology suppliers, equipment manufacturers, experts, and consultants to showcase and disseminate latest prevalent trends, innovations and products, new technical benchmarks attained, usage of renewable energy resources with the emphasis on mitigation of global warming/carbon footprint and clean environment development, a BSP Press release issued here on Wednesday stated.
The conclave shall provide a technical forum for sharing innovations, discussing challenges and opportunities, imparting industrial application experiences, deliberating on issues like newer R&D efforts, use of automation and information technology and exploring emerging trends in area of Quality in Iron and Steel Making.
With leading Business leaders from World Class Companies, Technocrats, Scientists and Academician in the field of Iron and Steel and Associated Technology Suppliers gracing the event, the techno fair would also have technical presentations broadly classified into Blast Furnaces Technologies, Advancements in Steel Automation, Mining, Coke Oven Technologies, Advancement in Rolling Mills and Steel Making Technologies.
