An Inter-school Football Tournament would officially kick off from Gass Memorial Ground on Thursday. About 24 teams from different schools are taking part in the knock-out tournament and several renowned footballers from the city are expected to be present to encourage the budding players, sports official said.
Official further informed that the inaugural match of the tournament would played between Gujarati Hindi Higher Secondary School and Vamanrao lakhe School at 3 pm on Thursday. The organisers have decided to give away best scorer, best discipline and best defence players award during the tournament.
