Preparations are in full swing for the megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s popular TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ to be held here at Indoor Stadium on September 28.
Important shooting equipment have been transported from Mumbai and Surat for the programme while old power transformers have been replaced with new ones to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the stadium while televising the show.
A massive set is being prepared for KBC while a number of police personnel have already been deployed in and outside the stadium to strengthen the security arrangements.
Besides, producers of the show have also started the process of selecting contestants for the episode. On the other hand, Mayor Kiranmayee Nayak was learnt to have expressed displeasure over the production company for only depositing Rs 2 lakh out of Rs 18.76 lakh, rent for using the stadium.
Following the Mayor’directives , RMC officials concerned have issued a notice to the production company to deposit the remaining amount or they will put a lock on the stadium’s gate.
“We have issued notice to KBC’s production company for depositing the entire rent of the stadium. The company is expected to clear the dues by September 25 or we will not allow them to use the stadium for shooting” said Nayak.
