The School Education Department, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday issued an order to observe the Independence Week in all schools and educational institutions from August 11 to 17. It is to mark the 75th anniversary of independence.
The national flag will be hoisted in all the schools. Maintaining the Covid-19 appropriate behavior, a ‘morning procession’ is to be taken out.
Awareness among the public will be created to hoist the Tricolour under the ‘Har Ghar Jhanda’ programme.
The order states that all students, teachers and school staff including departmental officers and employees should be encouraged to hoist the national flag in their respective homes.
