The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has now invited applications for admission to its 3rd Batch of Executive Fellow Programme in Management ( EFPM) programme.
The programme will start from June 8, 2015, an institute press release issued here on Thursday stated.
The EFPM is a unique doctoral programme specially designed for working professionals who would like to pursue doctoral level programme without disrupting their work and personal pursuits.
The major objective of this programme is to develop high quality researchers in all areas management. The programme has two components; The first component consists of on-campus course work, which is divided in three modules: (1) Foundation in Management, (2) Core Courses, and (3) Area Courses. The second component consists of Thesis Work.
IIM Raipur is looking for a diverse group from private, public sector and government departments, NGOs etc.
Candidates should have exceptional academic background and strong motivation to do research. The current EFPM batch is an exciting mix of professionals from various disciplines such as engineering, science, commerce and management. They represent various sectors such as power, investment banking, consulting, academics, railways, and so on, it stated.
In order to become eligible for the programme, candidates must have: (1) A Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum aggregate marks of 55% or equivalent grade point average OR a PGP/PGPWE/EPGP from IIMs with minimum grade point equivalent to 6.0 out of 10 point scale (with no ‘F’s and not more than two ‘D’s in the last year of PGP). OR A professional Qualification like CA, ICWA, or CS with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average or a five year/four year integrated master degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55% aggregate marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. OR A four year eight semester bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech.) with at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average, and Minimum 7 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation as on June 1, 2015 and Age should not be more than 55 years as on June 1, 2015.
Applicants should have, a valid CAT/GMAT/
GATE/UGC-JRF/GRE (last 3 years) score OR scores from the Research Aptitude Test (RAT). The RAT will be conducted by IIM Raipur. The RAT will be in the pattern of CAT. Candidates who have already obtained a PGP/EPGP/PGPWE from IIMs are exempted from the above-mentioned tests. Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview on the basis of CAT/GMAT/UGC-JRF/GRE/GATE/RAT score. Personal interview will be conducted at IIM Raipur. The final merit list will be prepared based on Test Score, Personal Interview, Academic Qualification, Relevant Work Experience, Research Aptitude and Publications, and Reference letter.
Candidates seeking admission to the 3rd Batch of EFPM 2015 have to submit completed application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs500 in favour of Indian Institute of Management Raipur payable at Raipur latest by February 27, 2015 only through Speed Post. There is no application fee for SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP applicants who submit an attested copy of SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP certificates.
