The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur, has invited applications for admission to 4th Batch of Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executive (PGPWE). The programme will start from June 7, 2015. The PGPWE is designed for those mid/senior level working professionals who are looking for mid-career change without disrupting their work and personal pursuits. Its goal is to enhance their skills and capabilities to take organizations to the next level for economic growth and prosperity, an institute press release issued here on Wednesday stated.
It is an intensive eighteen months weekend programme. Classes are held at IIM Raipur on Saturday and Sunday for 12 hours per week, it stated. IIM Raipur is looking for a diverse group from private, public sector, government departments, NGOs etc. The current PGPWE batch is an exciting mix of professionals from various disciplines such as engineering, science, commerce and management, the press release stated. They represent various sectors such as power, manufacturing, consulting, banking and finance, central and state govt., telecom solutions, IT & Consulting and so on, it stated.
In order to become eligible for the programme, candidates must have: (1) A Bachelor’s Degree with minimum aggregate marks of 50% for general; 47% for NC-OBC; 45% for SC/ST/DAP or its equivalent in any discipline duly recognised by UGC/AIU, (2) Minimum 5 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation and (3) Age should not be more than 50 years as on June 1, 2015. Applicants should have, a valid CAT (last 2 years) score OR a GMAT (last 2 years) score OR scores from the Business Aptitude Test (BAT).
The BAT will be conducted by IIM Raipur. The BAT will be in the pattern of CAT. Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview on the basis of CAT/GMAT/BAT score. Personal interview will be conducted at IIM Raipur. The final merit list will be prepared based on CAT/GMAT/BAT score, Personal Interview, Academic Qualification, and Relevant Work Experience.
Candidates seeking admission to the 4th Batch of PGPWE (2015-17) have to submit completed application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs1000 in favour of Indian Institute of Management Raipur payable at Raipur latest by March 4, 2015 only through Speed Post. There is no application fee for SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP applicants who submit an attested copy of SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP certificates.
