Huge stock of banned drugs seized from medico

A joint team of Drugs Control Department and Crime Investigation Team carried out a raid in Rati Medical Store located at Seetamani and seized huge stock of banned drugs, police said on Saturday. According to the reported information, police were getting complaints that Kailash Chauhan (38), resident of Seetamani and owner of Rati Medical Store was involved in selling banned medicines and drugs.

Acting on a tip off, Drugs Inspector Bhagat and in-charge officer of CIT Ashwani Rathore along with a team raided and recovered 85 bottles of Rexcof Syrup. Police have also seized huge stock of Nitrosun, Tensivan and other banned drugs from the shop.In view of the seizure of huge stock of drugs, police have conducted raid at Kailash Chauhan's residence in Seetamani and seized drugs stored there also. All the household items of Kailash Chauhan including bed, pillow, matrix, utensil etc were filled with drugs, police claimed.
