Vice Chancellor of Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Prof Dr Sukhpal Singh has put in his papers.
The students had levelled allegations of alleged financial irregularities, inaction against sexual harassment complaints, lack of transparency in hiring of faculty members against the Vice Chancellor.
As per information from Registrar of the University, Ayan Hazra, the Vice Chancellor tendered his resignation to the Chancellor of the University, Chief Justice of High Court of Chhattisgarh, Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi by meeting him personally in Bilaspur. The Chancellor has accepted the Vice Chancellor's resignation, informed Hazra.
