The Hidayatullah National law University (HNlU) added another jewel to its crown when five of its students scripted success at the International level ‘Moot Court Competition’ held at Miami, Florida, USA.
Swathi Sreenath, Sanskriti Singh, Priyanshi Singh, Syed Zeehan and Tanay Sarkar represented HNlU in the Susan J Ferrell Intercultural Human-rights International ‘Moot Court Competition’ this month.
A ‘Moot Court Competition’ is a live simulation of the Court proceedings, where teams represent their respective clients. The HNlU students defeated renowned teams from Universities like University of Siena from Italy, Christ University of law from Bengaluru and Florida International School University of law from Miami and emerged as the first runners up of the event against Howard University School of law from Washington. The team was also awarded the Best Memorial award for wonderful presentation of their case.
The Vice Chancellor, Dr Sukhpal Singh, Management and Faculty of HNlU congratulated the teams for their accolades.
