The Chhattisgarh government on Friday suspended the headmaster of a government-run school in Bilaspur district.
The action was taken against Ramsagar Kashyap from a primary school in Junwani village after a video showed him attending a Republic Day celebration in an inebriated condition.
He also got into an argument with parents and villagers, an official order said.
During the suspension, Kashyap will be attached to the office of the principal of a higher secondary school in Sipat.
