Himachal to follow Chhattisgarh model if Congress wins: Baghel

The five schemes which form a part of the Chhattisgarh Model find a place in the 10-point         election guarantee announced in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said.

Interacting with the media on his return from Shimla, Baghel said the schemes include restoring the old pension scheme, opening four English            medium schools in each assembly constituency, procuring cow dung at Rs 2 a kg and establishing rural industrial parks in each assembly constituency with Rs 10 crore infrastructure.

Holding medical camps through mobile medical units, which in Chhattisgarh is known as Haat-bazaar Clinic, is another scheme, he said.

So, the 10 guarantees give maximum reflection of the Chhattisgarh Model, he said.

The other guarantees are to provide 5 lakh jobs to youths and providing Rs 1,500 to every woman in the state, he added.
