High Commissioner of India to Republic of Uganda Ravishankar called on Chhattisgarh Governor Balramji Das Tandon at Raj Bhawan on Thursday. Secretary to Governor Surendra Kumar Jaiswal and Commerce, industries secretary Dr Kamalpreet Singh were also present.
Governor extended warm welcome to Ravishankar on his arrival in State. They held discussion on the India-Uganda relations in detail. Ravishankar said that in Republic of Uganda, Indians have abundant opportunities in agriculture and agro-products processing.
He said that Indians play key role in the economy of Uganda. High Commissioner said that in business sector India is an important partner of Uganda.
The industrialists from Chhattisgarh can also come forward for investment.
