The police investigation noose is tightening around notorious Balkrishan Agarwal who is wanted in the multi crore Agroha Society scam. Agarwal’s counsel would appear at Supreme Court (SC) to plea for his bail on August 12, informed City Superintendent of Police (Azaad Chowk) Neeraj Chandrakar on Wednesday.

The CSP talking with The Pioneer over phone informed that earlier SC had ordered Agrawal to present himself before Special Investigation Cell (SIC) who is investigating the case and keep his part so that investigation could be preceded. “Agrawal however did never showed up at any occasion,” the CSP claimed.

Noteworthy here is that two cases of rape and abduction has also been registered against Agrawal and he is on the run since a long. In one case a worker who used to work in hotel Chidamabara is the victim and case in this connection was registered in Nagpur. Agrawal had obtained anticipatory bail in this case.
