The Chhattisgarh High Court on Wednesday dismissed a petition against former State Panchayat and Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar regarding alleged amassing of property disproportionate to his known sources of income.
It may be mentioned here that petitioners K.K. Sahu and Manjeet Kaur Bal had filed a petition in the High Court alleging amassing of property disproportionate to the known sources of income by the Minister.
The court ruled that as earlier too , it had dismissed the petition against Chandrakar hence there was no need to file a case afresh by the petitioners.
Notably, earlier the petitioners had also approached the Supreme Court after the petition was dismissed by High Court and had directed them to approach the lower court .
