Seeking to lodge an FIR against Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ajay Chandrakar and a retired Deputy Director of the Department, Bhawani Shankar Tiwari, the former Chairperson of ‘Visakha Committee’ in Panchayat and Rural Development Department Dr Manjeet Kaur Bal on Wednesday filed a written police complaint in Raipur.
In her complaint, Dr Bal alleged that she was mentally harassed and humiliated by Minister Ajay Chandrakar and now retired Deputy Director of the Department Bhawani Shankar Tiwari, said Rakhi Station House Officer (SHO) Jitendra Tamrakar.
“Since, I raised voice against the misconduct of the Minister with trainee female officials, he started targetting me and also declared my appointment as Unit Member (livelihood) in Thakur Pyarelal Panchayat and Rural Development Institute under Panchayat and Rural Development as ineligible,” charged Dr Bal in her written complaint to the police and further added that the decision was taken by the Minister without conducting any inquiry.
Although, a case in this connection was not registered by police against the Minister and the Retired Officer, citing some legal complication, following which Dr Bal approached Raipur Superintendent of Police (SP) Badri Narayan Meena. Meena has assured to take necessary action after carrying out an investigation, she informed.
If police will not register the case on my complaint, I will move to court for justice, Dr Bal said while interacting with media persons here.
