The Chhattisgarh government’s ‘Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana’ is making significant strides in improving healthcare access to people in rural and remote regions of Jashpur district.

People visiting the mobile healthcare stations known as ‘haat bazars’ are offered free screenings for various health conditions like diabetes, blood pressure, malaria and other ailments, an official statement said on Sunday.

Furthermore, they receive free medication for health issues. In cases where patients require advanced medical attention, they are promptly referred to higher-level hospitals.

Officials said over 6 lakh people in Jashpur district have received healthcare services so far. Mobile medical units have conducted 7,072 health camps in 112 haat bazaars.
