Governor Shekhar Dutt on Friday would honour 144 meritorious students of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. These students are of two academic sessions 2010-11 and 2011-2012 respectively. The students belonging to Abujhmadia, Baiga, Birhor, Kamar and Pahadi Korva tribal communities of the state would be also honoured.
Yashwant Verma Deputy Secretary CGBSE informed that, in all 144 meritorious students of high school, higher secondary school and higher secondary certificate examinations would be honoured by the Governor in a special programme at Raj Bhawan on Friday at 3 pm. Chhattisgarh School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal would preside over the ceremony while Tribal Development Minister Kedar Kashyap would grace the occasion as special guest. Verma said students shall be given medals, citations and cash prizes.
