Governor Shekhar has expressed condolences on the sudden demise of noted Bangla film director Shri Rituparno Ghosh. Governor Dutt said that films made by Rituparno Ghosh have been widely acclaimed for the lively portrayal of human emotions that had lasting impact on the hearts and minds of viewers. His valuable contribution to Indian Cinema through his films full of creativity, emotions and innovative thoughts will always be remembered. Mr Gosh's sudden demise is an irreparable loss to Indian Cinema. Governor Dutt prayed for his soul to rest in peace and expressed condolences to his family. It is noteworthy that 49-year-old Shri Rituparno Ghosh passed away yesterday at Kolkata. Rituparno Ghosh has won National Award for Best Director for his Bengali film 'Aabohoman', other than several international awards.
