Janpad President Vikrant Singh, at a meeting held at the Vivekanand Public School auditorium, has issued guidelines to the headmasters and principals of schools in the block regarding the ‘Shala Pravesh Utsav’ (school enrolment) and the Yoga Day.
SDM PS Dhruv, Municipal Council President Sanjay Tamrakar, CEO GS Nayak, BEO OP Tandon, ABEO HD Kosre, Pl Mahima and BRC Bhagat Thakur were present in the meeting. Addressing the gathering, the Janpad President said that teachers were an important link in building a healthy and educated society. Development depends on concern in rural areas. Teachers can do this job nicely, he added.
Vikrant Singh asked the teachers to be cautious that the aim of education should not be limited to bookish knowledge but to apprise children of contemporary issues, so that they could be able to acquire information about schemes launched by the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister in public interest.
He said that students were better means of reforms in the society. Students can take society in the right direction.
