PWD Minister Brijmohan Agarwal on Wednesday said that politics cannot happen while ignoring your own party workers and it is on their strength the ruling Government is able to maintain power in Chhattisgarh.

‘The party workers understand us that is why we are leaders. Without the workers we have no credibility,’ Agarwal said this while  speaking at a party workers convention at old Mandi premises at Dhamtari.

He said that the forthcoming polls would be no less than a religious war in which on one side is the corruption ridden Congress playing with the sentiments of the people and on the other side is the public welfare oriented BJP.

‘In such a situation, one has to take the firm resolve of driving out the Congress party at the Centre and also work according to public sentiments for enabling the ruling party’s making a ‘hatraik’ by coming to power once again in the State,’ Agarwal said.

He said that the Congress had been fooling the entire country for the past 65 years. ‘It had ben making empty promises and corruption is its creed. The Congress must know that the State’s  aware citizens while learning from its bad history and also learning from history had chosen to offer the power on BJP’s shoulders.

Agarwal said that like Chhattisgarh, the people of the entire country would not be influenced under the illusion of the Congress as they know the BJP Government is capable of better and efficient governance while providing security.

‘The people have now made up their mind to remove the Congress party even from Delhi,’ he said. The Minister told the workers to get ready to campaign for the Assembly and lok Sabha polls and drive out the Congress which is keeping the country’s pride in one corner and were playing politics of power while standing with the heads bowed in front of foreign powers.

‘Today there is not a single BJP MlA elected in the Dhamtari district still the Government without any discrimination have carried out developmental works worth crores of rupees.

The Government had spent sufficient money for construction of schools, roads, community building, providing drinking water connection , adequate power supply, drainage, bridges and panchayat buildings in the district., Agarwal added.
