Chhattisgarh Government’s several official websites have not been updated for several months now. Some websites still display name and contact number of officers who no longer work with that department or have retired months ago.
The website of State Government’s transport department still displays name and contact details of two top officers lS Ken who has been posted as Jashpur Collector for over one year now and William Kujur who retired in July 2013, but there names are still displayed in the State Transport department’s website (see pic).
The department of General administration is responsible for works related to maintenance and updating of Government sites. When contacted, secretary of the department KR Pisda said that Government websites are updated when there are major transfers on the card.
“I admit that several websites have not been updated for quite some time now. I will look into the matter and issue necessary directions,” Pisda said. There is no set interval for updating Government websites, he said.
