Urban Administration and Development Minister Amar Agrawal on Tuesday announced that a 'grading system' had been introduced for measuring performance of urban local bodies.
Addressing Chartered Accountants at his office in the Mantralaya, the Minister informed that the urban local bodies will be assigned marks based on various parameters. The rating would be assigned with marks assigned out of total of 100 marks in various categories, he said.
Agrawal said that if the Biometric attendance system is not being operated properly in an urban local body, there would be ‘negative marks’.
