Former State Chief Minister and Senior Congress leader Ajit Jogi said on Friday that the ruling BJP Government in Chhattisgarh has sold off 10 per cent of the State’s land to power plant units and builders.
Jogi in a statement issued here said that the Bharatiya Janata Party during the past decade had carried out the work of selling State’s resources.
He said that the State is now under the influence of liquor and land mafias, middlemen besides contractors. The doings of the ruling party had a reverse effect on the State and its development, Jogi said.
