The talks between a delegation of Shikshakarmi Association and Chhattisgarh Government on Friday could not reach any conclusion.
Shikshakarmis, who are on strike for the past fortnight, will stage a protest as per their prior programme named as ‘Samvilyan Rally’ on Saturday.
According to information , the State Government took initiative and called the Shikshakarmi Association leaders for talks prior to their protest on Friday afternoon.
The Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, RP Mandal while justifying that he was new to the department demanded some time to take any decision and suggested for forming a Committee. The Shikshakarmis delegation wanted immediate assurance and thus the talks remained inconclusive, sources said.
The Shikshakarmis said they were ready to leave aside their big demand of ‘Samvilyan’ and wanted some concrete assurance regarding their remaining charter of demands.
