The State Government has set up a Working Committee and District-level Skill Development Authority under its ‘Right to Skill Development law 2013.’The Working Commitee would be headed by the Chief Secretary as its Chairman with members drawn from Agriculture and Allied sectors besides departments of Finance, Industry, labour and Rural Development besides those from, Scheduled Caste and Tribes community, Technical Education and Manpower Planning, Woman and Child Development, In-charge of Youth Welfare, Convenor of State-level Bankers Committee besides other nominated members, an official release issued here on Thursday said.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of State Authority would be the Member Secretary of the Authority.
The district level Authority would be headed by the Collector while the CEO of Zila Panchayat, and representatives from commerce and industry.
