Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will be visiting Raipur on May 1 this year, officials informed.
Top officials including Additional Chief Secretary Home, Jail and Transport Department B. V. R. Subrahmanyam reviewed the preparations at the Mantralaya here for the forthcoming visit of the Vice President on Monday.
Director General of Police (DGP) A. N. Upadhyaya, Director of Health Services Ranu Sahu, officers belonging to Raj Bhawan and Raipur district administration, Kushabahu Thakre Journalism and Mass Communication University Raipur Vice-Chancellor Prof Mansingh Parmar and officers of several departments were also present.
