Chhattisgarh Government has lifted restriction on spending limit fixed in 2013-14 budgets for forest department purchases which they had done for finance department.
The finance department has issued necessary instructions to chairman of revenue mandal of Bilaspur, heads of all the departments, divisional commissioners, and district collectors, said in an official statement issued here. In the circular the Government has also said there will be no restriction on the expenditure for the ongoing projects.
Importantly the finance department had issued an instruction on Jan 10 for all the departments urging them not to spend more than what they have been allocated in the 2013-14 budget after Jan 30. The Government had lifted the restriction for the purchases of two departments — public works and water resources in view of the emergency.
