In public interest , the Chhattisgarh Government has fixed the charges and also selected laboratories for
examination of H1N1 virus in people.
As per the directives issued by Director, Health Services, Rs3,250 has been fixed for examination of each sample of suspected swine flu patients.
An order in this regard has been sent to Chief Medical and Health Officer (CHMO), health officers and civil surgeons of district hospitals and civil hospital operational across the State. Moreover, they have been directed to ensure compliance of issued order.
According to the order, the Collection Centre of Dr lal Pathology lab and SRl Diagnostics in Raipur have been authorized for this purpose and Rs3250 has been fixed for swine flu test.
In case of finding additional recovery of money from people for the test, action will be taken against concerned laboratories.
