Chief Minister Raman Singh on Wednesday informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly that the State Government is awaiting prosecution permission from the Central Government in matters pertaining to IAS officers Dr Alok Shukla, former Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Civil Supplies Corporation and Anil Tuteja, former Managing Director of the Chhattisgarh Civil Supplies Corporation whose against cases had been registered to present the matter in the court.
In a written reply to Congress member Bhupesh Baghel, the Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh Government on July 18, 2015 had sought permission from the Central Government for prosecution of the two IAS officers.
