In a milestone, the Government Digvijay College at Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh has registered a patent in the United Kingdom, thanks to efforts by Dr. Suresh Kumar Patel and his team.
The patent was granted on Friday for the design of a device for electricity generation from waste water.
The design can generate electricity from waste water and purify the waste water so that it can be reused.
Principal Dr. K.L. Tandekar said Dr. Patel, a senior assistant professor in physics, and his team have become a source of inspiration.
