The Chhattisgarh Health and Family Welfare department on Saturday constituted an inquiry committee after          complaints were received     regarding fraudulent withdrawal of incentives.

Under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Dr. Khoobchand Baghel Swasthya Sahayata Yojana), there is a provision in government   hospitals that health workers involved in treatment can get incentives, an official                communication said.

Health and Family Welfare Minister T.S. Singh Deo received complaints from some districts regarding misappropriation of the incentives.

The incentive amount is 34 percent of the approved claim amount.

Of this, 45 percent of the incentive amount is given to the chief treating doctor and 15     percent to the assistant doctor and the remaining amount to other clinical, nursing, Class IV and Data Entry staff.
