State Government has given instructions to ensure availability of ramps, toilets, signs, primary health centres and Braille signs in Government, non-Government and public buildings in State, for convenience of disable people.
Urban Administration and Development Department has issued instructions in the context to all the municipal corporations, municipal councils, and nagar panchayats.
Urban bodies have been directed to strictly comply with the instructions and inform Directorate about the same.
The letter also states that the instructions have been given by the Supreme Court and hence, no compromise should be made in its
implementation.
