'Government cheated women of their hard earned money'

The BJP Government is claiming to have accorded priority to women in empowering them by including their names in Below Poverty line ration cards on one hand while on the other hand chief minister along with his four cabinet colleagues was indulging in swallowing the hard earned money of Indira Priyadarshini Bank, a bank operated by women.

And, now, that their names figured in the CD of narco test of the bank manager Umesh Sinha the entire Government is questioning the veracity of the CD itself, claimed Gariaband District Congress Committee president Onkar Shah. Notably, Congress workers staged day long dharna, demonstration at all district, block headquarters on Monday to highlight the Rs 53 crore scam of Indira Priyadarshini Bank. They also burnt effigy of the Chief Minister. Shah alleged that on one hand the BJP leaders are terming the CD of narco test of Umesh Sinha, manager of Priya Darshini Bank, as fake and invalid evidence, on the other hand the same leaders are demanding narco test of leaders in May 25 Jeeram Valley Maoists attack on Congress convoy. If the CD is fake then why the chief minister did not file defamation case against Congress, he asked and added that the State Government was organising Vikas Yatras while there is no teacher in schools, no lecturers in college; sub standard roads, bridges are constructed by BJP supported contractors who indulged in rampant corruption. But now the public have become fed up of the Government and will throw out it in the ensuing election, he warned.

Former president of Fingeshwar Janpad Panchayat and special invitee to DCC Raghav Mahadik, Nagar Panchayat President Mamata Rathod, Block Congress Committee president shabir Bhai also criticised the State Government for not fulfilling the aspirations of the people of this newly created district and instead indulging in claiming the credit of work done with the help of Central fund. later all the leaders and workers reached Tiranga Chowk and burnt the effigy of Chief Minister in protest of Indira Priyadarshini Bank scam.
