Two engines and three bogies of a goods train derailed near Dilmili in Dantewada district here on Saturday late night.
No loss to human life was reported but as the train was in high speed, the bogies after derailment jumped over the engine.
All the goods and passenger trains movements have also been affected on the route after the incident.
As per information received, no major loss has been reported except for affecting the normal goods and passenger train movement. Reports said that the goods train was on its way to Vishakhapatnam from Kirandul.
After the incident, the railway team rushed for assessment and conduct of maintenance of the damage. The railway is making all efforts to restore traffic on the rail route after necessary repair.
