General Manager of South East Central Railway (SECR) Naveen Tandon on Monday reviewed the works of different departments of the Raipur division and issued directions to the officers accordingly.
In a meeting held here at DRM office, Tandon also took stock of the development works undertaken by the Bilaspur and Nagpur divisions of SECR through video conferencing with the officers of these divisions. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Raipur division Rajeev Saxena welcomed Tandon and gave a brief report on department-wise works, including expansion of passenger facilities, carriage service etc. through slides. Tandon asked the DRM to ensure completion of the works assigned to them in given time period.
The meeting also witnessed a discussion on Good Governance. Tandon advised the officials concerned to take timely decisions to remove problems in accomplishing assignments and to maintain transparency in the work. He also stressed on developing better coordination between all the departments.
On the occasion, a presentation was given on “Situation Management Control System”, consisting points to strengthen security of passengers and railway properties from increasing terrorism attacks. In this system, emphasis was given on close monitoring of all aspects of security. SECR additional general manager and chief public relation officer, Rajendra Kumar Agrawal, SECR finance advisor and account manager, Alka Mehra and branch officers of Raipur division attended the meeting.
