Chhattisgarh should provide Rs 2,800 per quintal as minimum support price of paddy as per the hiked rate of the Central government from current kharif season (2021-22), Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik said on Saturday.
He was releasing the political resolution taken at the BJP State Working Committee meeting held here.
He said the Central government had hiked the MSP by around Rs 300 on paddy per quintal. The state government had not incorporated the hike. which would take the MSP to Rs 2,800 per quintal.
Corruption had taken toll on the ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ to provide pure drinking water to citizens due to which inordinate delay had been taken, he said.
He alleged that incidents of religious conversion had increased.
