BJP President J.P. Nadda on Saturday said the time has come to rest the Congress government and hand over work to the BJP in the state.

Addressing a public gathering at Lalbagh ground here, Nadda said the BJP has been in the forefront of taking all the society together with development and progress. He alleged that all work has come to a standstill in Chhattisgarh.

Alleging a rise in Naxalite incidents in the state, he said three local BJP leaders have been killed within a month: Neelkanth Kanem, Bhojram and Santosh Sahu.

He said the motto ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ is being implemented in the country.

He listed the opening of educational hubs in Dantewada, of Prayas in five districts, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and medical colleges in districts and providing pucca houses to the poor in the state.

He said the Chhattisgarh government has denied 16 lakh rural houses under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PAMY).

The Congress government has also caused hindrances in the implementation of Central schemes and so it needs to go, said Nadda.
